Annakim's Bio

Annakim Ffrench (She/Her) is a Registered social worker, currently working at the City Of Toronto as a Community Development Officer. She has more than 10 years of experience evaluating and improving partnerships between stakeholders and clients. 

Annakim has achieved great success and leadership in implementing preventative strategies and intervention programs to reduce at-risk (including marginalized, vulnerable, abused, street-involved and LGBTQ) youth criminalization and recidivism. Annakim also has extensive experience working in mental health and harm reduction, and has worked with those of various social and cultural backgrounds, valuing a trauma-informed approach and anti-colonial and anti-oppressive practices. Annakim remains research and data-driven to derive independent judgement, valuing diplomacy, policy, and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
